About JAL
Growing up in Southern Africa, I witnessed some of the world’s most silenced voices, People deemed insignificant by society, yet carrying stories that transcend generations. Each piece is a reflection of those stories: the echoes of the unheard, the beauty within resilience, and the truths that deserve to be seen.
Through art, I aim to redefine what makes art valuable, challenging the idea that you must “be someone” to create meaning. True art is born from authenticity, from lived experience, from the soul.
JAL is not just about sculpture or design; it’s about giving power to the silenced, celebrating inherent worth, and honoring the human experience. We are all valuable. We all deserve a voice. And this, this is what I am about, and what JAL stands for.
